“Fly Fishing at its best on the Provo”

Recently I spent the day with a Fly Fishing guide named Andrew who guides for Rocky Mountain Outfitters. Andrew knew there would be a good Blue Wing Olive hatch after lunchtime that day on the Lower Provo River. He took me to the right place (not the popular place most people go) and we knocked 'em dead with dry flies. Andrew is very passionate about fishing and took time to help me understand the logic behind the techniques we used, how to better spot fish, and how fun sight fishing can be when done right. It was an awesome day with an incredible guide. I've fished with a dozen or so local guides and none matched the skill and passion of Andrew.

"In October, my wife and I were in Park City for a long weekend get-away. While she went to the spa, I went fly fishing with guide Ryan Newman. It was a rainy day, but that didn't stop us from catching some large fish in the Provo river. I had never fly fished before and in no time Ryan had me casting like a champ.
My only regret is that I didn't ask the chef at the St Regis if he would fry one of my catches up for me before we went out. That would have made for a really satisfying day.
Looking forward to trying it again.
Thanks Ryan."

Recently went on a repeat fishing experience with our guide Andrew and he did not disappoint. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient; offered helpful tips without being overbearing and ensured we had a good day. He is humorous, has good fish tales and is laid back, which are all qualities I appreciate on a relaxing time on the river without all the chit chat and coaching. He is a local who grew up fishing the area and he knows his stuff!!

Most fish ever caught!,

"I decided to do something different this year and go fly fishing in November. It was the best fishing adventure I ever had. There was a light snow which made the scenery incredible and made for great pics. In my morning of fishing, I caught 35 fish with my guide Ryan Newman. Wow that's more then I ever imagined. Ryan knows right where the fish are. I've already booked my trip for next year!"

"I just want to let people know that after a half day fishing with Rocky Mountain Outfitters guide Andrew Seegmiller I can see no reason to go with anyone else. From the time we arrived until we were off the water our trip was amazing. Andrew was extremely professional very knowledgeable and most of all fun to fish with he took great care of us and had us on big fish all day. Thanks RMO and Andrew for a great day. Kurt"

Best Fishing Trip Ever!,

"Booked and went on a full day guided fishing trip with Rocky Mtn Outfitters yesterday--specifically with professional guide Andrew Seegmiller. As you can the tell the experience was awesome because first thing this morning I got up and wanted to write this review. Andrew is a professional through and through. There is a difference between just fishing and counting on luck and fishing with a guide. Andrew takes luck and throws it out the window and replaces it with years of experience and puts you on the fish--period. Within the first three hours I had landed about 6-7 fish and quality fish. I plan on going on a trip like this at least once a year to learn new techniques and become a better fisherman. The trip was like going to Fly Fishing University and I can't wait till my next class begins!!"

"All of my expectations were met. We did not have much time to fish and my girlfriend had never fly fished. Our guide Ryan Stokes quickley taught her a few of the basics and she caughe a fish on her first cast and a total of 7 fish in a couple of hours. Ryan was very knowledigible and worked very hard. Definately look forward to future trips."
